Christmas Came Early!

We are posting a picture of what we got in the mail. It was great! Tomatoes and cukes from Marti's garden and then navy blue shoe polish from Joyce. It was so fun and the tomatoes were great with the bacon sandwiches.
We found dad's apron at the cleaners in Miles City. Mine is one Grandma Reid made and I've kept these many years. Love you, my kids.

We had the CES Fireside and it was really good with Elder Holland. We will send you excerpts of his talk as it related so well to what Jana had been discussing with her friend about trials and blessings.

Experiences....

Its raining on this Labor Day and we are not laboring very much. In a few minutes we are going to see what stores stay open on holidays.

We found a cleaners in Miles City and they said they pick up and bring cleaning back to Glendive every Wednesday.

All is going well and we are doing great.

An experience I had on Saturday: I washed clothes, ironed, sewed a little and then ate some of dad's peanuts. Then later in a bit I started to get stuffed up in the nose.

I thought I was getting a cold. At bedtime I took two tylenol and a Benydril. I didn't sleep very good but said if I felt okay at 5:00 am we would still go to Glasgow for the church dedication.

We got up and I was just tired. I am not sure it was the nuts, but I know we prayed that we would be able to go to Glasgow and we were able to.

Love you all, Elder and Sister Olson aka Mom and Dad

The Dive?

I've heard this term, the Dive. We went to Sidney an hour away and met with a seminary teacher. Such impressive people and dedicated. Delightful community, went 10 miles further to Fairview and looked over to the border of North Dakota, but didn't go. Observed the mission rules and did not go out of our mission territory. Dad wanted to because that is where the Missiouri and Yellowstone River meet and Lewis and camped here.

Going to Miles City later today for same work. We are busy. We're getting things organzied and in order.

Weather changes each day, hot and then cool.

We've checked out the paddlefishing for Bart. You need a heavy steel pole. The fish get up to 100 pounds. More details later.
Love you all,
